iMemories Saved My Kid’s Videos

I am a doting mother of two. Every milestone in my children’s life, I make a video out of it or at least take a snapshot of it in my digicam. I have been doing this from the day I was pregnant with my first born. My husband shares this hobby with me. He is even there inside the delivery room with a video camera in hand to capture our baby’s first cry.

My elder son is two when I got pregnant again. That means I’ve got two years worth of memories to keep. I have all of them captured, from the day he first said “Mama”, when he was ready for solid food, and when he’s making small baby steps. It was so fun capturing the videos. My and I husband watch them all the time.

When my second baby was due in fall, I decided to do all of those again. That’s also when I came across iMemories. At first, I was not into using their service. I only wanted the free account that they give out. The account is something I use to share my baby moments with my mom and dad who live in Louisiana. We’re living in New Jersey so it is quite hard to make the trip all the time just to see each other. My iMemories account is all that I’m using to share my baby’s video with them because I don’t really trust public video sharing sites especially when it comes to kids.

Then my computer crashed. The technician I spoke to on the phone said that they have to reformat my hard drive for my computer to work again. They also specifically said that I will lose everything in it! Goodness! Two years worth of pictures. Gone. I can’t believe it. Then I realized that I uploaded all of them to my iMemories account. Boy, am I relieved! I am so thankful to iMemories that I immediately subscribed to a paid account. Now, I upload every important video that I make into their portal so I’m sure I won’t lose any of them even if my computer crashes again.
